The Sarā Signature is a six-string electric guitar built at the intersection of boutique craftsmanship and serious playability. A showcase instrument that performs as well as it presents — every material chosen for what it contributes, visually and acoustically.
The euro walnut body is topped with a highly figured English ash cap, its quilted, swirling grain presented under a clear gloss coat that gives the surface a liquid, three-dimensional quality. The warm amber and gold tones of the ash top are framed by the deeper, richer coloring of the walnut beneath — a natural pairing that needs no color, no stain, and no artifice. The roasted flamed maple neck extends the visual language upward, its flame figure and caramelized coloring complementing the warmth of the body. The ebony fretboard provides a clean, dark counterpoint — smooth, fast, and precise.
Stainless steel frets complete a playing surface built for longevity and feel in equal measure. Three Bare Knuckle True Grit single coils deliver an SSS configuration built around character and dynamics — high-output without losing the clarity, snap, and expressive range that define the single-coil format at its best.
The Sarā Signature is a commission instrument. One build, one player.

European walnut is a dense, finely grained hardwood with a tonal profile that sits between mahogany and maple — warm and full in the low-mids, with enough natural clarity to avoid muddiness. Its figuring ranges from straight and understated to richly streaked, and its natural coloring shifts from grey-brown to chocolate depending on the cut and finish applied. Durable, resonant, and increasingly valued in boutique lutherie for both its acoustic properties and its visual character.
Ebony is the benchmark fretboard material against which others are measured. Exceptionally hard and dense, it delivers a fast, smooth playing surface with a bright, articulate tone and outstanding sustain. Its tight grain requires no finish to play well, resists wear over decades of heavy use, and contributes a defined, precise attack to every note. Visually, true ebony runs from deep chocolate brown to near-black, with a uniform, fine-grained appearance that suits both traditional and modern instrument aesthetics.

English Ash
English ash shares the open, pronounced grain character of its American counterpart but tends toward a slightly tighter figure and a more restrained natural coloring — pale cream to light tan, with grain lines that read cleanly under both natural and artificial finishes. Tonally, ash contributes brightness, sustain, and a well-defined low end. As a top wood, it adds visual structure and a degree of tonal articulation to whatever body wood sits beneath it.
The True Grit is Bare Knuckle's take on the high-output vintage single coil — wound hotter than a standard spec to deliver more sustain, a thicker fundamental, and a stronger midrange presence, while preserving the clarity, dynamics, and twang that define the format. It responds expressively to playing dynamics, cleaning up naturally with a lighter touch and pushing into grit and bite when driven harder. A pickup built for players who want character and output in the same package, without sacrificing the feel of a true single coil.
