Ordering & Customization
How do I place an order?
To place an order, visit our product pages and choose your preferred model and options. For custom orders, please contact us directly to discuss your project
How long does it take to make a guitar?
Depending on the complexity of your chosen model and customizations, production typically takes between 4 and 8 months. E-Series vary between 4 an 6 months, M-Series between 5 and 7 months, and S-Series from 8 months and more. We’ll keep you updated on progress throughout the build.
These are standard production delays, but are not guaranteed. As a small company, our order book is limited, and we organize our production in batches. If the current batch is full, you will be given a spot in the next batch, which will make the production delay significantly longer
Can I customize my guitar?
Absolutely! We offer extensive customization options. You can choose from different finishes, inlays, pickups, and hardware, all within the 3D Configurator in the Custom Instruments Products. For any special demand, contact us directly
What aspects of my guitar can I customize?

Can I adjust the setup to my playing style?
Absolutely! Each guitar is set up to match your playing style, including neck relief, action, and tuning. We take time to understand your preferred setup, so your instrument feels like an extension of you right from the start.
Do you offer guidance on choosing specifications?
Yes, we’re here to help guide you through each customization choice, whether you’re new to custom guitars or a seasoned player. We can discuss tonal properties, playability, and aesthetic options to ensure every decision aligns with your vision.
Can you recreate the sound or look of a specific model I like?
We can often draw inspiration from existing models or sounds, but each Belforti instrument is unique. If you’re aiming to replicate a specific tone or look, please provide as many details as possible, and we’ll advise on how we can get close while still delivering a one-of-a-kind instrument.

Instruments & Features
Can I choose specific hardware brands or types?
The third party hardware we use on our instruments are very few. We only use Hipshot tuners for basses and guitars, as our bridges are proprietary design produced by ABM.
We do not offer the possibility to change hardware on regular or custom instruments.

How do you ensure quality?
Our guitars undergo rigorous quality checks at each stage of production, ensuring that every instrument meets our high standards.
Can I track the production of my instrument?
Yes! Once production begins, we will keep you updated on key milestones in the build process. You will also receive email notifications once your instrument is shipped.
What if I change my mind during the build process?
We understand that ideas can evolve. Minor changes may be possible early in the process, but significant modifications may incur additional costs depending on the stage of production. We encourage you to finalize all decisions upfront to avoid unexpected charges or delays.

Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?

What if the instrument doesn’t meet my expectations?
Our customization process includes regular updates and photos of your instrument’s progress, allowing you to stay involved. However, due to the personalized nature of custom builds, returns are typically not available on custom orders. We’re dedicated to creating a guitar that meets or exceeds your expectations, and we address concerns at each stage of the build to minimize any surprises.
What if I don’t like the sound of my custom guitar?
We work closely with you before production to understand your tonal preferences, helping you choose woods, pickups, and electronics that align with your desired sound. For additional peace of mind, we can offer sound samples or similar setups for you to preview in advance. However, due to the bespoke nature of custom guitars, alterations after completion may incur extra fees.
In the end, while we do our best to have your guitar match your expectations, we do not take responsabilities on purely subjective considerations
What if the color or finish doesn’t look the same in real life?
While we strive for precise color matching and finish quality, slight variations may occur due to lighting and monitor settings. We offer in-progress photos and finish samples for certain custom colors to help ensure you’re satisfied with your choices. If exact color matching is critical, please discuss this with us before production.
How do I return a guitar?
To initiate a return, contact us with your order details, and we’ll provide return instructions. Please note that return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
Will I receive a full refund?
For eligible returns, we’ll issue a full refund minus shipping costs after the item is inspected and confirmed in original condition.
