Overview

The M-Series is the mid range Series of Belforti's line up. These instruments represent the entry in the world of fine lutherie, with decorative tops, high performance woods and electronics, in a form factor that represents modern lutherie. They are a continuity of the E-Series design, and bridge the gap between E & S-Series.

As a part of this Series, this instrument features the following :

• Master Grade Tonewoods

The Master-grade woods that are known for their stunning visual appeal as well as their tonal excellence. These aren't just any pieces of timber; they are carefully selected for their aesthetic beauty, tonal richness, and resonance.

All the Master Grade woods are rated between 81 and 90 on the Belforti rating.

• Faux Pickguard Aesthetics

The faux pickguard gives the M-Series their distinctive look. It maintains this classic look and brings coherence to the design, while preserving the grain pattern. It is made out of inlayed ebony.

We could never put a piece of plastic on these, not even transparent acrylic !

• Matching Premium Inlays

M-Series fretboard and headstock inlays are exclusively made out of the top wood you chose. They are extracted from the scraps of your top, and they are outline with a black inlayed ebony outline.

The Sarā body shape distills the essence of the classic S-style design into a more compact, sculpted form.
Its flowing lines, balanced offset, and seamless neck integration offer a natural feel and exceptional access — a blend of classic familiarity and modern precision.

The universal standard for electric and acoustic guitars. Versatile and intuitive, covering all genres and playing styles with countless tuning possibilities and ergonomic familiarity.

• Scale Length : 25.5"

Classic guitar scale length delivering bright response, clear attack, and balanced string tension. Standard on many iconic electric guitars, offering precision and dynamic range.

• Number of frets : 22

Traditional fret count favored for its vintage aesthetic and tonal response. Provides slightly warmer neck pickup placement and classic feel.

• Neck Profile : M

Versatile and balanced neck profile suited to most playing styles. Offers ergonomic comfort and support without feeling too thin or chunky.

• Radius : Balanced 10" to 14"

A modern compound radius optimized for both chord comfort near the nut and flatness for easy bending and lead work higher up the neck.

• Body : European Walnut

European walnut is a dense, finely grained hardwood with a tonal profile that sits between mahogany and maple — warm and full in the low-mids, with enough natural clarity to avoid muddiness. Its figuring ranges from straight and understated to richly streaked, and its natural coloring shifts from grey-brown to chocolate depending on the cut and finish applied. Durable, resonant, and increasingly valued in boutique lutherie for both its acoustic properties and its visual character.

• Neck : Roasted Flamed Maple

Roasted Maple undergoes a heat-treatment process that reduces moisture content, increasing dimensional stability and resistance to environmental changes. It’s lighter than regular maple, with improved stiffness and a rich caramel color. Its reduced internal stress makes it highly resistant to warping, ideal for touring instruments or varying climates.

• Fretboard : Gaboon Ebony

Ebony is the benchmark fretboard material against which others are measured. Exceptionally hard and dense, it delivers a fast, smooth playing surface with a bright, articulate tone and outstanding sustain. Its tight grain requires no finish to play well, resists wear over decades of heavy use, and contributes a defined, precise attack to every note. Visually, true ebony runs from deep chocolate brown to near-black, with a uniform, fine-grained appearance that suits both traditional and modern instrument aesthetics.
