From our Paris workshop, each Belforti instrument is a labor of love and expertise, hand-built by one man. Every detail, from the wood selection to the finishing touches, is handled with passion, guaranteeing a truly unique instrument that reflects the spirit of Parisian craftsmanship

"We carefully select and grade every material for its mechanical consistency, stability, and acoustic behavior. Each component is chosen to serve tone, reliability, and long-term performance."

Premium Materials
From aerospace-grade carbon fiber reinforcements in the neck to top-of-the-line hardware, our focus is on durability, reliability, and optimum sound quality. Our fret wires, truss rods, and even the finishing lacquers are sourced from industry leaders, ensuring that every detail adds to the overall excellence of the instrument.

Selected Bone Nuts
Our premium bone nut is sourced from free-range French bulls, providing the highest quality and sustainable material for your instrument. This carefully selected bone not only ensures optimal string vibration transmission but also aligns with our commitment to ethical and environmentally friendly practices.

Ethically Sourced Woods
Every piece of wood we use in production has been either FSC Certified, orr carefully selected from our trusted suppliers from family owned exploitations all over Europe for most of the structural pieces, and all over the world for the decorative tops.

Rated Tonewoods
We don't just pick any piece of wood; we choose tonewoods that meet the highest standards of quality and resonance. Our selection process involves careful sourcing from sustainable and reputed suppliers, followed by meticulous grading and rating. Each piece undergoes frequency testing and visual inspection to ensure optimal sound quality and aesthetic appeal. The aim is to provide you, the musician, with an instrument that doesn't just look good, but sounds incredible too.

"Our instruments are built using modern lutherie methods combined with precise handwork at every critical stage. Construction choices are driven by ergonomics, structural integrity, and musical response."

Easy Truss Rod Access
Our instruments feature a spokewheel design that allows for quick truss rod adjustments without the need for unscrewing or removing any parts of your instrument. Located at the base of the neck, the adjustment wheel ensures that you can fine-tune the neck relief with precision anywhere, anytime

Radiused Fretslots
By utilizing CNC machining, we ensure that each fret slot is cut with absolute accuracy, perfectly matching the radius of the fretboard.
This eliminates any gaps between the fret and the bottom of the slot, creating a tight, seamless fit. The benefit? No room for humidity to penetrate, which aids in the longevity and stability of the fretboard and the instrument as a whole.

Carbon Reinforcement
Our guitars feature angled carbon fiber reinforcements embedded into the neck, providing a neck that remains stable through changes in temperature and humidity.
Our carbon reinforcements are installed up to the end of the neck, preventing rising tongue issues, and are installed at an angle to take advantange of the rods superior compression strength over flexion strength.

Invisible Fret Tangs
Fret tangs are precisely trimmed to avoid contact with the fretboard edges, allowing the frets to be fully seated without exposing metal at the sides. This construction improves long-term stability, eliminates sharp edges caused by seasonal wood movement, and results in a cleaner, uninterrupted feel along the neck.

Equal Spacing Bridge
Unlike conventional multi-string bridge systems that conform to fixed hardware geometry, our equal spacing single bridge approach is based entirely on string positions — not hardware dimensions. Each bridge is individually placed to ensure perfectly even spacing between strings, measured from string center to string center, across the entire set.
This method allows us to achieve a consistent and natural feel under the fingers, with optimal alignment over the pickups and fretboard. Whether you're playing a 6-, 7-, or 8-string instrument, spacing remains mathematically equal and visually balanced, free from the constraints of pre-machined bridge plates.

PLEK'd
Every Belforti guitar undergoes meticulous PLEK treatment, a high-precision process that levels frets to perfection, enhances playability, and ensures optimal action. This cutting-edge technology guarantees that your instrument is set up with the finest precision for unmatched comfort and playability right out of the case.

Belforti Intonation System™
Modern strings are not ideal. They're stiff, under tension, and their behavior deviates significantly from the equal-temperament assumptions of classical fret spacing. At Belforti, we’ve engineered a solution that delivers uncompromising intonation without compromising aesthetics or playability.

"Hardware and electronics are selected for accuracy, durability, and tonal transparency. Every configuration is designed to preserve signal integrity and provide reliable, repeatable performance."

Optima Gold Strings
Strings are more than just an accessory; they are the voice of your instrument. That's why we've partnered with Optima to bring you 24k Gold plated strings. These aren't your average strings; they're engineered for longevity, resisting oxidation to give you enduring, fresh-sounding performance.

Single Saddle Bridge
One of the standout advantages of a Single Saddle Bridge is its ability to isolate each string, preventing the unwanted sympathetic vibrations that can occur with traditional one-block bridges.
Until 2025 we were using Hipshot’s bridge, and starting from now our own proprietary bridge is produced by ABM in Germany, with the highest standards you can expect from this renowned manufacturer.

Thin Frets
At the heart of our design philosophy is the desire to let the natural characteristics of the wood shine through. That's why we opt for thin frets in all our instruments. Unlike thicker frets, which can act as a tonal filter, thin frets allow for a more unobstructed vibration of the string, capturing more of the inherent woody sound of the guitar. This results in a richer, more nuanced tone that resonates with the qualities of the selected tonewoods.

Premium Components
Every component used in our instruments is sourced from the best manufacturers. We use exclusively CTS Pots, Pure Tone Jacks, and a wide array of pickups from the best builders & brands in the industry

"Our finishes balance protection, visual depth, and respect for the instrument’s acoustic properties. Each finish is applied with control and consistency to ensure durability without excess thickness."

UltraThin Polyurethane
We employ an ultra-thin polyurethane finish that serves a dual purpose: it protects the wood while allowing it to resonate more freely, ensuring that the intrinsic tonal characteristics of our premium tonewoods shine through.

Extensive Paint Options
Your instrument should be as unique as you are. That's why we offer an extensive range of paint options to suit every style and personality. Each finish is applied with artisanal precision to ensure lasting beauty and ultimate tone quality.

Outstanding & Unique Finishes
Our outstanding and unique finishes are a testament to our commitment to craftsmanship and artistic expression. Inspired by nature, marine life, and cultural motifs, each finish is a work of art in itself.
