The S-Series is the flagship of Belforti's line up. With these instruments, we aim at delivering exceptional performances, precision and power, in a form factor that is the embodiement of luxury, and world class crafstmanship.

As a part of this Series, this instrument features the following :

• Private Stock Woods

Our Private Stock Woods represent the absolute pinnacle of tonal and aesthetic excellence, handpicked for their unparalleled beauty and unique sonic characteristics.

All of the woods in the Private Stock score between 91 and 100 on the Belforti Rating. These pieces are extremely rare and are the results of intense researchs and sourcing.

• Wrapped Inlayed Top

S-Series tops are inlayed in the body, and outlined with a 3 ply purfling.

This creates a seamless integration of the top in the instrument's design, gives it a natural contoured binding look, and did we mention it still follows the curve of the armrest ?

• Signature Pickup Shells

S-Series instruments feature Signature Matching Pickup Shells, meticulously crafted to harmonize with the overall design of your instrument. They are a mirror of our inlayed top, as the matching wood isinlayed in the shellto mimic the top of the S-Series

• Signature Inlays & Side Dots

S-Series Inlays are subtle, elegant rework of our standard inlays. They are an outlined version, to preserve the private stock woods' grain. They are matching your top, and extracted as one piece of wood each.

• EVO Gold Frets

Made from a special copper alloy, EVO Gold Frets offer a perfect blend of strength and longevity without sacrificing tonal clarity. They are remarkably resistant to wear, ensuring that your instrument stays in peak condition for years, even under heavy use.

Not only do they provide a silky-smooth playing experience, but their distinct gold color adds an extra layer of aesthetic sophistication to your instrument.

Our Model 1 Bass pays homage to the timeless Jazz Bass design, while redefining its core attributes. With a smaller, more ergonomic footprint and an emphasis on improved balance, this instrument offers the perfect blend of classic aesthetics and modern functionality.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a budding musician, the Model 1 promises an exceptional playing experience that's rooted in tradition but designed for the demands of today's players.

• Number of strings : 4

The traditional bass configuration. Lightweight, balanced, and essential for most musical styles. Offers simplicity, clarity, and a classic feel with optimal string spacing and comfort.

• Scale Length : Standard - 34”

The industry-standard bass scale length. Offers a balanced feel between string tension, playability, and clarity. Ideal for versatile playing styles and compatible with most bass string sets.

• Number of frets : 24 - Medium/Medium - EVO Gold

Extended-range configuration offering two full octaves per string. Ideal for soloing, technical playing, and modern styles requiring upper-register access.

• Neck Profile : S

Slim, fast neck shape with reduced thickness. Optimized for speed, smaller hands, or players seeking maximum comfort and agility.

• Fretboard Radius : Modern 12 to 16"

Flatter fretboard radius for fast playing, low action, and effortless bending. Ideal for technical and contemporary playing styles.

• Body : Flamed Ash

Flamed Ash features striking visual figuring within the grain, with a weight and structure similar to Swamp Ash. It is lightweight to medium in density, with an open, porous texture that responds well to resonance. Flamed Ash combines aesthetic luxury with natural acoustic responsiveness and balanced structural properties.

• Neck : Flamed Norwegian Maple

Flamed Maple is structurally identical to standard maple but features striking, undulating flame-like figure caused by irregular grain patterns. It maintains the same medium weight, excellent stiffness, and stability. Often selected for its visual appeal, Flamed Maple offers a premium aesthetic without compromising the reliability and strength of a maple neck.

• Fretboard : Ziricote

Ziricote is a dense, exotic hardwood known for its dramatic visual patterns — dark spiderwebbing and marbled grain on a lighter brown background. It has a smooth, glassy surface with moderate oil content and tight pores. Ziricote offers excellent stability, durability, and a luxurious aesthetic rarely found in fretboard woods.
