Introduction
Every Belforti instrument is meticulously handcrafted in our Paris workshop, embodying the highest standards of craftsmanship and artistry. Each guitar or bass is a unique piece, designed to meet the expectations of discerning musicians worldwide.
While we stand behind the quality of our instruments, certain exceptional circumstances may warrant a return or refund. The following policy outlines our terms and conditions regarding returns and refunds.
1. General Conditions
1.1 Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with French consumer law (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code), custom-made or personalized instruments are exempt from the right of withdrawal and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.
For non-custom instruments (stock models with no personalization), customers may exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery, provided that:

The instrument is returned in its original, unused condition, in its original packaging,

The instrument shows no signs of use, damage, modifications, or wear,

The original purchase invoice is provided.

Return shipping costs, insurance, and any applicable customs duties are the responsibility of the customer.
Upon receipt and inspection of the returned instrument, we reserve the right to refuse a refund if the conditions outlined above are not met.
2. Refund Terms
2.1 Refund Amount
If the return is validated, the refund will be processed within 14 business days from the confirmation of the instrument’s condition.
Refunds apply only to the price of the instrument itself. Original shipping fees remain non-refundable.
2.2 Non-Refundable Items
The following items cannot be refunded under any circumstances:

Custom-made or personalized instruments,

Deposits or down payments made for custom builds,

Accessories, cases, spare parts, or additional options,

Shipping or insurance costs.
3. Damaged or Defective Products
In the event of damage incurred during transportation, it is the customer's responsibility to:

Notify the courier immediately upon delivery, with detailed written reservations,

Document the damage with clear photos,

We will assist in processing any claims with the shipping carrier.
In the rare case of a manufacturing defect, Belforti Instruments will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis and may offer repair, replacement, or refund at our sole discretion.
