Like no one else.

Let us explain how we make things a bit different here at Belforti.

We believe that you should'nt have to go through an infinite list of models with impossible names to find your instrument.

We believe that you should'nt be cornered into playing an instrument that isn't tailor made for you.

We believe that there is no reason to make things complicated when they should'nt be.

To put it simply, we believe in you

Names don't matter.

We decided to make things simple when naming models.

Instead of inventing weird names, or creating the most annoying nomenclature (looking at you Ibanez), we created 2 bass models and 2 guitar models, respectively named :

Model 1 & Model 3 for basses

Model 5 & Model 7 for guitars

Paired with our Series, you can easily indentify a specific model with just two letter.

e1 : E-Series - Model 1

M5 : M-Series - Model 5

S3 : S-Series - Model 3

Cross-compatible platforms

Our basses and guitars are built on 2 design platforms with up to 95% of common parts. That means they allow us to optimize ressources and raw material, and you can swap parts, necks, pickguards, nuts or pickups.

Common Neck Dimensions

All our necks have common dimensions between basses, and guitars. So you can swap a fretless neck, or a rosewood fretboard neck on any build.

Just unscrew, pop it in, and play !

Standard Pickup Shells

You can swap any pickup from any of our pickup families, as long as the format is the same. That means you can put a SENSE IV in the shell of a SENSE II, without any hassle

Common Cases

Our instruments fit into our cases, no matter the model or specs.

And of course they fit in the cases you already own.

Oh wait. You choose everything.

Since our instruments are based on common design platforms, it also allows us to have them modular and extremely agile designwise. That means you can choose all the core specs of your build without virtually changing anything to the overall coherence and ergonomics.

Body Shapes

Guitar or basses come in different shapes and sizes. No matter what you choose, 95% of the parts are cross compatible

Standard or Extended Range

Our instruments come in 3 sizes, Short, Standard or Long.

Thats 24" / 25,5" and 27" for guitars and 30" / 34" and 35" for basses.

Classic or Multiscale

Want a little extra tension on your drop tunings ? Or want people to ask why your frets look weird ? There you go

Conventional or Headless

Every Belforti can be converted into a headless instrument. And the good thing is it doesn't change a single thing about the rest.

Neck Profiles & Fretboard Radii

As always, we offer 3 options.

Small, Medium and Large necks

Vintage, Balanced or Modern Radii

Don't worry about the future.

All of our instruments are designed from the first sketch to be easily repairable. This is why we stayed away from neck through and set neck constructions. With a bolt-on, on top of the great performances, you can repair your neck at no cost.

That is if you really mistreated your Belforti, otherwise, you don't even have to worry.

With our common platforms, you can already swap parts easily without thinking about it. But we also designed our electronics to be swappable, thanks to our onboard wireless PCB architecture, you won't have to pay a tech to find the loose connection or cold solder. Just swap the PCB and you're good to go, and this will be infinitely cheaper than a standard tech or luthier's hourly rate.
